Peru Expedition to go?

Hia, I'm planning an expedition to Peru and wanted people's opinions on what are the best places to visit. personal experience would be good. :) Thanks

My wife is from the coast (Chiclayo) so it is always visiting family there, but my favorite places in Peru are located in the mountains. I used to climb, but now only go on field trips. My favorite place to base my walks is Huaraz, with access to the Cordilleras Blanca and Huayhuash, in walks (and up) at any level of difficulty are available. Another of my favorite rides is Ausangate, near Cuzco, including Laguna Sibinacocha. The best route involves walking completely around the lake and neighboring valleys. Of course there are Machu Picchu, and walks that will take there, including Salkantay and the Inca Trail. Colca Canyon, near Iquitos is also interesting, and there are some cool nearby volcanoes. If you are really adventurous, Nevado Mismi can go and try to find the source of the Amazon. I also like the Lake Titicaca, but the hike is not so good that, unless you venture out of the ordinary Apolobamba Cordillera on the border with Bolivia. Another cool place, seldom visited, is the Cordillera Central, not far from Lima. There is a beautiful hike around a mountain Pariaccacca call I have been fortunate to do last year with a friend of Huancayo. Peru also includes the Amazon, of course, and you can visit the near Iquitos, Pucallpa or Manu National Park. We just returned from a trip to beautiful (but very hot) to the jungle near Iquitos. There are many jungle lodges can stay in, which will be field trips to the jungle. We stayed at the Lodge Muyuna, and loved it. What really distinguishes Peru are the Andes and the Amazon, but the coast is also spectacular. Do not miss the towns of Nazca Lines, Paracas, Huacachina, or the north by that responded other. Chiclayo My wife has one of the pre-Inca best museums in the country, especially Royal Tombs, and amazing food. Mancora and Tumbes, offers beautiful beaches, but if you go to Peru hopes to rival the beaches of the Caribbean or South Pacific, you disappointed. Go to the mountains, forests, and the food, culture and history of the coast.
