ALL ABOUT … HURRICANES (Part 1)
OVERVIEW
Tropical cyclone is the generic name for all hurricanes, typhoons, cyclones, etc. All they have a unique character of rotating around a center and thus are also called Revolving Storms. To understand the concept of Rotary, if you maintain a bucket and trying to remove so that both the upper and lower layers of water are rotating in the direction you move, leaving a hole in the center of the basin from top to bottom (equivalent to the "eye" of the storm in a real tropical cyclone), then that is a perfect description of how it behaves a tropical cyclone, the difference in the bucket of water is the microscale while the real thing has a diameter of at least 500 km (312.5 miles) and a height in the range of 10-15km. You may wonder why a storm should begin to rotate. Well, they acquire the character of the rotation of the earth itself. As (the storm) was move further away from Ecuador, a factor known as the Coriolis parameter (Coriolis force – in honor of the founder of GG Coriolis, a French physicist) becomes significant in the equation of atmospheric motion.
The term "tropical" is a reflection of their place of birth ", since they all originate in tropical waters (oceans.) The associated wind speed is very important for them to be classified as tropical cyclones – which should reach or exceed 118 kmh (74 mph).
The different names they are called is simply a reflection of the region where they form, like a man from China can be called Lee, and Zuma of South Africa American man or a same-sex Fleming. All of these are males with the genetic makeup of men and act like any other man, no matter what the world was born. The same goes for tropical cyclones. Different names are used in different parts of the world to designate them. The typhoon name used in North Western Pacific Ocean (west of the international date), the hurricane in the North Atlantic, Parrots in the Northeast Pacific Ocean Trovada near Madagascar, simply cyclones in the Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal, Willy-Willy in Australia, and Baguio, Philippines.
TRAINING DATA of tropical cyclones
Tropical cyclones do not form in regions within 5 ° N or S of Ecuador. Belts favorable latitude degrees N or S. 5-15 However, in the Southern Hemisphere (SH) is not beyond 22 degrees S, while in the Northern Hemisphere (NH), which are still as high as latitude 35 degrees N.
There are seven Basin Tropical Cyclone around the world where such storms occur on a regular basis: (i) The Atlantic basin (including North Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea). (Ii) of the Northeast Pacific Basin (off the coast of Mexico at 140 degrees west longitude). (Iii) North Central and Northwest Basin Pacific (140 degrees west, across the international date the seas of China and southern Philippines). (Iv) the North Indian basin (Bay Bengal and Arabian Sea). (V) in southwest Indian Ocean Basin (about 100 degrees east to the southeast coast of Africa. (Vi) southeast of the Ocean Indian / Basin of Australia (about 100 degrees east to the northwest coast of Australia. (Vii) Australia / Southwest Pacific Basin (from the east coast of Australia to areas beyond the international date).
Research has shown that two thirds of all tropical cyclones form in the Eastern Hemisphere – The tropical northeast Pacific (off the coast of Mexico), South China and Philippine seas and the Bay of Bengal. The other way to third in the waters tropical West Indies and the Gulf of Mexico, the tropical SH stretch of ocean around the international date (from 170 degrees E and 180) across Australia to the coast of Africa.
On rare occasions, tropical cyclones (tropical or subtropical systems appear to be similar to tropical cyclones) can develop in the Mediterranean Sea. These were observed in September 1947, September 1969, January 1982, September 1983 and 13-17 1995. For readers familiar with the Bible this may be similar to the storm (given the level of destruction and even had a name) encountered by the Apostle Paul and others on their journey to Italy in the Mediterranean way in time.
While most tropical cyclones form in the summer, the genesis is possible at all stations in the northwestern Pacific (South China Seas Philippines – this region alone is known to have nearly one third of all tropical cyclones in the world).
The Southeast Pacific (off the coast of Chile and Peru) and South Atlantic (Atlantic waters between Africa and Latin America) are not affected by cyclones.
cyclone formation is favored especially near the location of the ITCZ (Inter Tropical Convergence Zone – the zone of convergence of NH and SH particular air masses over the ocean). 80-85% of these cyclones originate in or on the poleward side of the ITCZ.
Surface Temperature (SST) is usually above 26 degrees C (79 degrees F) at a depth of 60m.
Nothing can withstand the awesome force of nature. Most often the atmosphere is the reaction against the man is a man's reaction action against it. When the atmosphere reacts with violence, they know how to defend his life to know why he acts like he does. There is always something new, current, sizzling hot, refreshing, thorough and with great authority on the climate and atmosphere in cheap-bargain-mall.com/globalweather.html will need when the weather threatens to snuff life out of you as it has done to many.
In Part 2, we examine the more likely their season of occurrence of the destructive power and how you can protect your life when it hits. And in Part 3, we will look at the power centers to monitor and issue warnings of cyclones, and the way their names cyclones. View the names of 'birth' cyclones through 2013.
