How is the weather in late November?
I have the intention to visit Peru during the last two weeks of November. My main destinations Machu Picchu and Amazon would (which Tambopata National Reserve). I could go on a hike along one of the Inca roads if we have enough time. What is the weather generally like? Is it advisable /'s worth going to these places during the end of November? (A little subjective I know). Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The rainy season (a misnomer, really – It rarely rains) is from June to September in Lima (humidity can be as high as 98% during this time) and from November to March in the mountains. Northern and eastern highlands are subject to heavy rains from October to April. Along the Amazon, which is always hot and humid (which is a jungle, after all). Be sure to bring a sweater (Or something heavier) if you go to Cusco and Machu Picchu. The largest number of foreign tourists visiting Peru, July to September – which is also when the Peruvians take their vacation. It's best to avoid this time, since the prices are high and the hotels are full.
