Travel to Machu Picchu?
Me and my wife are thinking of traveling to Machu Picchu (Peru). How do we get to Machu Picchu and how much it cost (Estimate, please)? Any other info would be appreciated! Thanks for answering!
Well, I have traveled there from Australia. I will quote Prices for one person. Depending on the book on how early 2-3000 costs to Lima from Australia. From USA I imagine it would be between 500 and 800 dollars. Once in Lima, will cost 100 to $ 150 U.S. to travel to Cusco, which is a 1 hour flight. Upon arrival in Cusco, which will be bombarded by people trying to get in a train to Machu Picchu. Be careful because there are plenty of people looking to steal. It should cost around 50-80 dollars for a ticket to Machu Picchu. To convert U.S. or in Australian dollars in Peru money (soles) just by 2.7 times to $ 100 becomes 270 soles. Thus, in suns … 270-400 for a ticket to Cusco …. 130 to 200 for a ticket to Machu Picchu I hope helped.
