Peru / Machu Picchu / Amazon Basin – Traveling in September. Anyone taken this route?
How was it?
Great time to go there. I will advise you to take a good sunscreen, a baseball cap rather a cheap poncho good hiking jacket (not thick)-the sporting field. You will go to Aguas Calientes, which is the foundation of the city before the climb to the ruins. If you stay in Aguas Calientes, you will have unless you are doing the Inca Trail, go to dinner in India Happy! This place has the best prices and the best food! It is owned by a young Frenchman and Peruivan and will not disappoint. When you this hike, be sure to bring a water bottle with you and some snacks road. Macchu Picchu was beautiful and the hike is increiible. Be prepared for outside vendors and do not forget to haggle for a lower price! I would like to stay longer in this area if you can make a three-day stay, there are hot springs in this town and is something of a dream. You will have so much fun! Bring plenty of space in digital!
