All the interesting sites in Puno, Peru?
Im going on a trip to Peru and want to know if any intersting or historic sites in Puno. Thanks
Puno borders of Lake Titicaca highest navigable lake in the world, celebrations of the Feast of the Virgen de la Candelaria "and the Regional Dance Competition Native. Many houses in Puno, as well as surrounding cities, are half finished. This is done so that residents do not pay taxes.Much of the economy of the city based on the black market, fueled by cheap goods smuggled in from Bolivia.Puno is known as the "Folkloric Capital of Peru." Puno is an important region agricultural and livestock llama, vicuna and alpaca. I hope that helps
