Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail?
I'm thinking of heading to Peru for the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu trek around July and August. However, even with all the research I have done feel comfortable in booking her and the whole thing really … So, id like any help I can give. In general, anyone who has been there, what is the best way to do it? to reserve? costs? and how to get there, how long to stay, etc?
I January 8 and is used llamapath for the walk. They were good. tripadvisor.com is a great resource to help plan. I flew spirit because they offer some rates great, but flying at odd hours. Peru was my Lonely Planet travel guide and has been useful. For the walk, it takes at least 5-9 days in total as they must spend a few days in Cuzco to get acclimated. I made the journey of 2 days … I loved it. I finished watching this site a lot also http://www.andeantravelweb.com/peru/ If you book a flight in one of the websites of national airlines do in Spanish vs. English and you can get a cheaper rate … we did.
