What is the value of the Argentine peso in Buenos Aires?

Now a dollar is equivalent to 3.49 pesos, but what does that mean? During the Fall 2009 I will be studying in Buenos Aires and want to start planning for finance. So what some of the following things or anything else in actually cost in pesos? Metro Cab Ride ticket Lunch / Dinner Beer / wine typical night Expense (Patagonia, Iguazu, Peru, Uruguay, Mendoza) Other costs One reason I chose Argentina in Spain would have the financial capacity to do almost anything I want. I'll be living there for 4.5 months How much money do you think should be available. (I will be living with a foster family BTW) Thanks for reading, I know that a question of time. I realize that weight is the same value to everyone across the country. Trying to find out what really can buy …

Not quite sure what the previous publications dealt to … only one Argentine peso and a dollar are the same thing – no matter where you travel in Argentina. A weight is a weight. I was in Buenos Aires and here are the prices (in ARS) for a couple of things … metro ticket – Bus ticket $ 0.90 – $ 1.10 – $ 1.25 Taxi – Depends on where to go. A short trip probably cost $ 4.6 pesos. Wine – Prices vary depending on quality. Stick within the range of $ 15 will be okay. Lunch – assuming you do not go to a super fancy restaurant, to pay $ 25-40 person, including any dinner – assuming you do not go to a super fancy restaurant, to pay $ 40-60 per person, including all travel – round trip bus to Cordoba, by example, is about $ 300 or less,

Cheap Airfares – Last Minute Flights – Discount Tickets
