When was it founded the city of Jequetepeque in Peru?

Jequetepeque is a city in the province of Pacasmayo in northern Peru. The river flowing along the valley where the city is also called Jequetepeque.

Peru has a history that begins long before the Spanish were independent of their African masters. From Jequetepeque was part of the Chimu kingdom, the last is probably around 1450.
