How long does it usually take to clear customs and immigration at Lima Peru-Jorge Chavez International?
Will arrive at 2 pm on a monday on a TACA flight from San Salvador. Thanks for your help. Any tips for clearing customs there are greatly appreciated.
2pm is actually a great time to arrive as very few flights arrive between noon and 3pm. If your flight is the only one, you can get out of the airport in less than an hour. I recommend you check the airport’s webpage and see how many flights arrive at that time. And it is always about 40 minutes per flight. I recommned you never travel to Lima at night, between 10pm and 1am there are more than 10 flights arriving and you can get stuck at customs for about 3 hours!

(check their webpage and see in “llegadas internacionales” how many flights arrive at 2pm and then just calculate the time you’ll be in immigration and customs.
