In addition to Machu Picchu, what are the best things to do in Peru?
We're going to do in Machu Picchu, but after what two weeks is a non-scheduled. Where should we go and what to do?
Getting started In addition to Cuzco, you can go to: – the jungle visit the Amazon River and the tribes around them – Puno Lake Titicaca (the highest lake in the world), – The Lord of Sipan Trujillo (equivalent to Egipt) – City Caral, near Lima, the newest and greatest discovery / city in the world of the past 50 years I would say, – El Carmen in Chincha, Ica, where the people Peruvian black keep their ancient traditions, food and of course music – Nazca Lines – all the above – Playas de Piura, with the famous and beautiful Mancora – A lot of museums in Lima, Catacombs of San Francisco, the Cathedral of Lima, Barranco – City Bohemians – Huaraz and snow sports, it really could go on, and goes to governments. If you understand some Spanish, go to www.promperu.gob.pe, which is the web site for tourism. Before I forget …. actually, if you think in any sport, natural adventure activity, you can do in Peru.
