We embrace the full dignity of silent death
By now your name happens to be dead.
Do not be sad because he is dead Lord of Sipan
Under Peru amber spring of opencast
Unlike turquoise in a cloudless sky
His splendid jewels and gold was.
Here, his grave is facing the heaven in divine silence,
In the Valley of Sipan, where the vultures fly.
Always the northern edge of a sunset looms:
Gloria Sipan tombs in the pyramid.
Beyond our loss is a powerful reward
In the solitude of the newborn, the soul and spirit:
Released through high clear skies
To Eartha is fleeting Gibert-fading Sipan!
# 1308 4.9.2006 [Written in Lima, Peru] Notes (comment): ancient civilizations: I have seen many World Heritage sites, which are disappearing as the one in the Valley of Sipan, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Sun, residence, and where the Lord of Sipan tomb remains; worn by rain and other elements disappearing as man watches. Maybe that's why it seems to some, I'm on a mission to capture on film, and poetry their last piece of meat on their bones. I Dona't blame someone or something, how it is. Life is a hiking path is sometimes found in road dust, sometimes in the poison oak youÂ're other times in an avalanche, rarely, we are in the sun in the valley, smoke a cigar, but when you are, grab the moment.
So are the sacred sites of the world's is to compare to us? We must stop seeing people from them, which belong to them and that would violate the spirit of humanity: a stone bridge, and thin man, as less worthy, that is worth more than stone. Maybe we can put them in the Valley with a cigar from his sides, and gloss, and that the next generation can afford to do. Whatever the case, civilizations disappear and new ones emerge, we will rebuild the old must believe that necessary. But now is our time, and we touch: feel the power, grace, peace and wisdom, is all built into them.
