I need advice on raising money for a trip?
My Spanish is traveling on a trip to Peru this summer and I really love to go. Unfortunately my financial situation is not too big and fundraising is helping with the school is minimal. Are there specific grants or scholarships I apply? What else should I do?
Make sure that you look for in his hometown organizations that seek to sponsor children to travel they do well in school. (It's rare that you get the money as well, but it's true!) Also, try to get a job. A lot of stores like Wal-Mart or TJ Maxx rent of teenagers to work part time. Try to bag groceries at a local supermarket or corner shop. Finally, any small change you or any money you receive, put into a jar and not touch it until it is needed for the trip. Trust me, he adds: I once had to save for my own journey, and in 6 months I saved $ 2,000 on those small things. So trust me, it works! Good luck and have a blast in Peru!
