What is a recent news item that deals with human rights violation? (preferably in PERU))?
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HISTORY: should be on the violation of Human Rights (as defined by the UN) can not be older than a month that have affected a significant number of people No North American or Central America PLEASE LINK to the source. It is also making a long-term effort to restore the independence of the judiciary and the armed forces restructuring. Other long time human rights problems, such as police brutality and prisons overcrowded and unsanitary, are also beginning to address. Fujimori's legacy The government so far has not addressed the country's draconian and much-criticized anti-terrorism legislation. Neither has yet remedied the situation of some 2,500 prisoners sentenced by the courts against terrorism without due process or the right to defense.
