peru shots needed
are the vaccines of Foreign Affairs of the same?

For the college was going to receive 2 injections of varicella, each take one month apart. So gave me a shot on 1 November, but then I went to my native Peru, where I have another varicella vaccine on November 12 (because I thought the shot should be given within a month, not a month apart) …. So back to the states and my doctor told me that is still needed on 1 December, which occurs in Peru for being too weak. I thought that all vaccines are the same?

Nope. Different countries use different vaccine formulations as they are regulated individually by each nation's health agencies. For example, U.S. does not use an adjuvant to influenza vaccine while the rest of the world does.
