Lima Holidays: What to do In peru city of Kings

When tourists planning a vacation to Peru Lima tend to jump on. Instead of planning a vacation will find in Cuzco Lima Machu Picchu nearby, or the Amazon jungle of Iquitos to meet tourist attraction. Lima is not given a second thought. For tourists in Lima are used merely as a stop point at the international airport before going to more advertising attractions that Peru has to offer.

There are a mist that hangs over Lima during most of the year, which seems to cover the eyes of the tourist to see what lies beyond. When one person moves from pollution and bustle of about 10 million in its crowded streets, is a gem of cultural history that goes back to the time when the Inca empire ruled the country and after the Spanish conquistadors.

Lima was known by the Spanish as the "City of Kings" and was the capital of America Spanish Sur. There are two main areas in Lima that are of interest to tourists:

Lima's Historical Center and downtown Lima
