The history of Peru reveals that the Peruvian territory was home to the Norte Chico civilization. This civilization was considered as the oldest in the world. The second important tourist spot is the Cuzco also known as Machu Picchu. This place constitutes the greatest tourist attraction due to the existence of Archaeological Capital of America. Cuzco is considered the biggest city and Inca Empire is the capital of Cuzco. The Sacred valleys of the Incas, sacred citadel of the Inca Machu Picchu are some of the important places to be visited in Cuzco. Beautiful atmospheric surroundings offer a great holiday site for tourists.
The third important holiday spot is the Amazon River. This place is considered as an ideal place for the visitors seeking nature and biodiversity tourism. The Amazon forest provides an intimate contact with the nature and helps in visiting dwellings situated in the full jungle. A visit to this place provides the most adventurous and enjoyment filled trip for the tourists.
Another important holiday spot in the country of Peru is Lima. Lima is the capital of Peru and considered as a metropolitan city. Lima is considered as the entrance door to the country of Peru and is defined as an important historical centre. This place has beautiful colonial constructions constructed by UNESCO. Also the museums, archaeological locations and luxurious casinos and game houses are key places to visit in Lima.
The final tourist place for holidaying in Peru is Puno and Lake Titicaca. Puno is situated in the Andean Highland behind the Lake Titicaca. The Lake
Titicaca is considered as the highest navigable lake in the world. Puno is considered as the earth of legendary town and culture.
