international outlet converter?
I am goign to Peru (South America) and i am bringing my 30 watt hair straightner. My converter is this:

The low setting says for 0-25 watts and high setting for 26-1750 watts or soemthing i nthe thousands. Would i have to do the hi setting? But, the directions said not to use hair irons over 25 watts or soemthing

This converter will work ok for you. The warning you see about exceeding 25 watts is for large electronic equipment. Basically they are saying don’t use this converter for things like large appliances (washers and dryers, computer, ect)
Hair dryers, electric razors, curling irons, etc will all work well with this.
Depending where you are staying, you may not need this converter, as many hotels support 100v. However, it’s good you are prepared. I’ve visited Peru many times and found myself without a converter.
