What kind of coat or jacket will I need in Peru in July?

I'm traveling to Peru in 10 days for backpackers and I'm not sure what coat or jacket you should wear. A few pages all say "a hunter" does not really know what it is, of course, I looked on google images. I really do not like my style, though: – / I really prefer coats or jackets and maybe a little smarter, but it has to be light to carry and a little rugged, suitable for outdoor activities, so do not know … I'm thinking maybe just take my winter coat quite normal. Or it is too hot or not suitable for such travel ;-) ? By the way, my journey is going to Bolivia, northern Argentina and Uruguay in August. Hmmmmm. Elegance feasibility … I can not have both? I have a kind of rain jacket that is windproof and water, but very thin, that will be enough? I'll have a fleece jumper, too!

you want a waterproof jacket .. could be quite cold at night and mornings can be quite foggy and rain .. nothing heavy, though .. It is not cold.
