Backpack school in Ecuador and Peru?
I'm going to Guayaquil, Ecuador this summer to volunteer. I'm going to pack for an additional month and the only place I dreamed of going to Machu Picchu is. I'm in a very small budget (about $ 1,500 per month) is there any way I can get with affordability in mind? Machu Picchu is the only place in Peru could see in a month, considering my budget and transportation limitations? I wanted to do the Inca trail, but no idea of how to go about getting booked? Should I keep the pack additional months through Ecuador? Is it worth going to Peru on a budget? Thank all the help! World, thanks for the input. I am seeking information on everything about the way he moves. How I can get from Guayaquil to Cuzco financially?
Peru has more than Machupichu and thinks it's expensive … My recommendation is that you spend the month traveling in Ecuador. You should definitely see the Amazon rainforest and Avenue of the Volcanoes, Cuenca, can do some climbing and kayaking, for example. Visit www.pioneerjourneys.com and you can get an idea about the possibilities of Ecuador … this company, for example, undercuts the Amazon jungle tour I've seen … $ 180, but you have to ask that special treatment. Moreover, you can go to the Galapagos Islands but keep in mind that it is an expensive destination (450 $ only the ticket) … but once you are there as a backpacker can travel and enjoy the fantastic islands for not much. Another possibility is that they spend two weeks in Ecuador (Quito and visit the Amazon) and then go straight to Machu Picchu … but bear in mind from where the plane is go back home.
