Introduction of the jungles of Peru
If you travel Peru and would like a relatively short trip in the Peruvian Amazon that will not break the bank, you should consider a trip to Puerto Maldonado in the Amazon rain area and then in the depths of the jungle from there. It is also suggested that you make at least one trip to the jungle to see the break of dawn and the jungle come to life and a night tour to enjoy the nocturnal wonders of the jungle has to offer. Many of the houses in the jungle that you can stay in offering a complete package that includes tours jungle at dawn and dusk, and some even offer a trip to the Research Center as taricaya well.
By exploring the jungle you will find a wide variety of flora and fauna, many of which are in danger of extinction as the harpy eagle, Cock of the Rocks, the Orinoco goose and the giant river otter. In the region there are about 600 species of birds, over 1,000 species of butterflies, over 100 types mammals, 127 species of amphibians and reptiles and at least 94 known species of fish!
