Free Trade Deal with China Textile Industry of Peru not Hurt

Amid growing concern that a free trade pact between Peru and China could adversely affect the Andean country's textile manufacturers, the Ministry of Foreign Trade has announced that tariffs for these products not be reduced.

The tariffs are maintained at 17 percent for clothing, textiles, shoes and metal work products of China, ie, sensitive to the industries of Peru announced Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Eduardo Ferreyros (right).
