Cuzco and the Amazon in Peru?
Going to visit my boyfriend in Peru, I've never been there, but will stay for 10 days in which living in northern Peru. He collected me in Lima, so I will travel there. Most of the time we are on the beach in Mancora, but also gave me the option of visiting the Amazon and Cuzco. I would like to see both, but he was never in the Amazon so I thought we should do that. Anyone been before, any suggestions? I like all the guys in his reply, thanks! I did some research more into it, and it seems that travel to the Amazon are very intense and hardcore – can save that for future travel when I can stay longer. We are also launching the idea of a trip to Ecuador, since he does not live too far from there. Thanks again for all the advice!
I guess if you go to Cusco is also going to Macchu Pichu? Macchu Pichu is amazing and is hard to imagine a trip to Peru and do not go there. However, if you plan to go back to visit again, you can always go to Macchu Pichu then. I've never been in the Amazon, though I always I wanted to. I guess since he has never been what could be the self-sacrifice of fiancée and go to Amazon instead of Cusco. I'm sure there would be an amazing trip anyway. If you expect to return one day to Peru, then I would go to Amazon now, but if you think this may be his only trip, then I would convince to go to Cusco and Machu Pichu. Have an amazing trip!
