Where can I find instructions online in Central and South America?
My friend and I are planning a road trip from Los Angeles, California to Machu Picchu in Peru. We are trying to find directions online similar to Mapquest (both MapQuest and Google Maps does not give any direction south of the U.S. border). Anybody know of a website that will instruct us? Is there an equivalent to Mapquest for any of the countries of Central or Latin South? (it is perfectly acceptable if it is in Spanish)
Lonely Planet, which publishes travel guides for worldwide also have online maps and guides. Try it. Edit: You can also get maps of roads in countries that are quite accurate.
