A good Christmas present for my boyfriend? It will be in Peru during the next two years … something useful?
He is 19 and leaving for a mission Mormon Peru in two months. I want to give something useful / thoughtful. Maybe $ 15-25?
A decent small Spanish / English Electronic Dictionary. Lifeguard. Find one that is small and compact but has each word. When you are looking to 1000 words in the dictionary, it's nice to have. Fanny pack style If the scriptures. Watch Franklin-Covey or an outdoor place like REI. Take writings with you. Something that can fit the five canonical books and things would be great. May not be able to use it in the MTC, but it is likely that once in Peru. Backpacks make your way back too hot and sweaty. Try to get something that is colored so conservatively. Or you could buy around 200 packs of Kool-Aid (the type of added sugar). Contain small and will use them! I think any of the first two would be something really fantastic. On my mission I bought a machine translator (which was expensive, bad, and I had a small selection) and still I loved him. My bag was an absolute lifesaver.
