Pollution, crime and the long queues. A new guide by Peter Greenberg guides away from travel destinations on earth.
Places that may well prevent listed by Mr. Greenberg, and lists of airports should be avoided and when it is convenient to places of interest around the world. A practical guide recently, with some perspective other than travel guides available to others.

Most tourist traffic
• New York worse – before Christmas and New Year and during Thanksgiving. The expensive hotels and crowded city makes it a nightmare for most of us. Its better to go there between January and March, when the locals have long weekends in the summer and escape the city.
• Disney World, Florida – endless lines in the school holidays, Christmas, Easter, spring break and 04 July. One tip is to go there on Tuesday and first go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, then followed by Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom last.
• Grand Canyon worse – to visit during normal weekdays, and excursions and tours that make up the bulk of the traffic and found that in those days. We will go there in October or early spring.
• Eiffel Tower, Paris – very bad in the period between May and September and longer lines in the summer months. We will go there in November and December, the lines are best at that time. Try to go there in the weeks following Thanksgiving and New Year.
• Louvre, Paris weekends are worst, especially in the summer and holidays. We will go there in the middle of the week or at night Friday, after 20:00 and its open until 22:00 on Fridays.

• The Great Wall of China – Big crowds during throughout the year and tourists coming around 09:00, get there before this, and you can be almost alone on the wall, and enjoy the architecture alone.
Crime and dangers
• Yemen – has a bad reputation with the kidnapping of Westerners, and never operate a car there.
• Tijuana, Mexico – Drug cartels are engaged in kidnappings and shootings; taking care of their money.
• São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – violence and corruption in combination with dangers of being robbed and shot him.
• Johannesburg, South Africa-not as bad as its reputation, but still a lot of violence, robbery and rape on the streets.
• Kingston, Jamaica – increased crime in areas outside the tourist hotels.
