peru itineraries
I plan a trip to Peru next year, when is a good time to go and other recommendations?

I'm thinking of booking my trip with a small tour guide company, any recommendation or avoid. Travel books or itineraries Shops and restaurants. Thanks for your help.

First of all (this is Munequita) January and Febrauary are rainy months, but only in Cusco! No rain just in Lima, in fact, January and February are the best months to visit Lima, like sunny, summer, and the city is full of flowers. Book your trip through a travel agent, I would recommend Lima Tours (www.limatours.com.pe) a very known and professional agency that books of travel and Peru. As for travel books, as well as the usual Fodors, Lonely Planet, etc. The food is excellent, never taste the food so wonderful in your life! about the time …. Jan / Feb is ideal for Lima, but lousy for Cuzco. July / August is ideal for Cuzco, but bad for Lima. So I would say coming in May or October and will be able to get the best of both cities.
