Kick The Habit Coffee with Natural Herbal Energy
Let me start by admitting that I love coffee. However, too much coffee, especially in the recent years is not good for anyone. In recent years I have tried to reduce or stop altogether. Stopping completely is hard to do for most of the people. Sometimes I successfully stopped many times I did not. It seems like every New Year resolution would do to stop or reduce coffee. What worked best was cutting for my cups of coffee a day (sometimes none) and the replacement of a power good herbal tea or energy supplement.
There are several herbal teas and supplements herbal energy I would recommend to people who want to quit coffee. Here are six that are good choices to try reduce or completely give up coffee.
Yerba Mate. This is number one on my list. Yerba Mate will help you awaken and get out of bed, like your cup of coffee. Yerba mate is found mainly in Argentina. Its leaves and stems to produce a fairly mild green tea. It is also finding its way into the diet and energy supplements natural. It is slightly less potent than coffee and much gentler on the stomach. Most feel they have a mild flavor and not too bitter. The yerba mate is a source energy and natural as green tea, yerba mate is rich in polyphenols. Yerba mate contains minerals such as potassium, magnesium and manganese. According to Wikepedia and Florida International University, Mate contains no caffeine. Florida International University has studied Mate and found it contains no caffeine. However, many people agreed that seem able to tolerate Maté better than coffee. Yerba Mate users often claim that they can easily get to sleep after drinking mate. They also say they feel more focused and alert while drinking. Mate I used almost daily for the past ten years, would agree. The inconveniences of too much coffee such as nervousness, constipation, stomach upset and do not come with a habit of Yerba Mate. This is a great substitute for coffee for me.
Tea green. Green tea has become very popular in recent years as a rich source of antioxidants. (I think there are many plant species has not yet been discovered as sources food that produce large amounts of antioxidants it.) Green tea is loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. The caffeine content in green tea is much lower than in the coffee and again, it seems to most people the jitters. Many believe it is much healthier substitute for coffee. Guarana sure I substitute good for coffee in the short term, but there is a strong stimulant and can upset some stomachs.
Ginseng. Ginseng is often used by athletes, runners, cyclists and weightlifters intended to improve strength and energy in general. I encourage more of a ginseng tonic for the total energy support rather than being an energy booster. Used over a long period, is said to be beneficial for the immune system, regulating blood sugar, improving the mental awareness, increasing a sense of well being, improve sexual function and improve mental and physical performance. Ginseng has been used for many years and many studies are still ongoing. I think insurance is a good tonic to add to your list of supplements. I do not think you can substitute coffee ginseng if you are a daily coffee drinker.
