Religious holidays in Peru?
What are some religious holidays observed around the months of December and January in Peru (in addition Christmas)? please explain and traditions, etc, thanks!
All religious festivals in Peru are Spanish Catholic holidays. In December has 8 (Immaculate Conception) and after Christmas. In January only the 6th (day, three days the king or the wise men), although in reality is not a holiday. The religious holidays are Easter (March-April), June 29 (San Pedro and San Pablo), August 30 (Santa Rosa de Lima) and 01 November. That's it, other holidays or religious holidays are civil (Remembrance battle, etc.)
