
National Family Welfare Institution. INABIF is the main Public institution in charge of abandoned children, kids in process of adoption, teenager mothers, street kids, etc. Their role is to improve the life quality of the kids in risk. El Buen Pastor needs volunteers to help in assisting the girls with their homework, also to teach them English and other courses. El Buen Pastor home has a little library. Girls go to study in a near school and need support to do their homework once they come back from School.
Volunteers can assist by doing following tasks:
To assist the girls in doing their homework To teach the girls different courses, like English, Math, etc. To teach the girls methods of studying. To teach them how to use effectively the little library they have at El Buen Pastor. To help in the kitchen preparing meals for the day. promote and help sell the hand made products made by the girls to support their living costs and that of the home. Volunteers must be of age 20 or above with minimum education of Undergraduation .
Volunteers with the following special skills are preferred for the placement:-
