Can a minor transport cigarettes on a plane?
My kids are visiting their uncle in Peru and he has asked me if I can send him American cigarettes. i am not going on the trip so my only option is to send it with my kids. would there be any problems because of this?
They will be searched at customs and the cigarettes could be subject to tax (which the kids would have to pay). Do not put your kids at risk, as they are in possession of them when they are in the US, which is against the law.
