Why celebrate Christmas at the wrong time of year?

according to the Bible that Jesus was born during the lambing season not in December unless you are in Peru or elsewhere in southern Ecuador and quite far south of that. is because first christans were willing to give its pagan festival? or Christians today are so ignorant as to believe December 25 is his real b-day? His birth was sometime in the spring. Why the lack respect for the celebration of his birth at the wrong time of year?

One would think that with something that would be important that the figure of the day. Oh, I'm sorry. I just used the word "think" when talking about religion. Oops. But I agree about the reference pagan festival. Most major Las Christian festivals pagan festivals occur in or very close.
