Current transformers in Peru?
U.S. I and will be in Peru. "The Peru-US use the same electrical outlets? Do I need to buy a power converter to use for my appliances that will bring? Thanks!
Peru uses 220V. You will need a power converter unless they are capable of using ~ 90-240 volts AC. Most computer power adapters can be converted, but you should check the label to determine input power requirements. Many of the outlets in Peru are round instead of flat. Neither the use teminals soil. You should be able to buy universal power adapters and connectors in most major airports. Many of the larger hotels have different support 110 and 220 and should be labeled as such. enjoy your trip
