Does anyone know how to build a box?

A drawer is a percussion instrument from Peru. It has been used in flamenco dancing Spain. It's basically a small box with a hole in the rear panel. It is played with hands. I am particularly interested in the materials needed to obtain the best sound.

The top is often left loose and can be slapped against the box. A hole sound was cut on the opposite side of the head or top. The player sat astride the table, tilting at an angle, while banging his head between his knees. The modern drawer has several screws at the top for adjusting percussive timbre and rubber feet for the sport. Some versions may also have several vertically stretched cords pressed against the lid to a buzz like effect or tone. Guitar strings, rattles or drum snares may serve this purpose. The percussionist can play the match for the top of the palms and fingers for additional sounds. There are also tube cajón, which are played like a conga.
