Should I rent a sleeping bag in Cuzco, Peru?
I'm going to Peru for two weeks in July and August and will be touring the Inca Trail. Should I take my sleeping bag or rent one there? Does anyone know of a good (clean) to rent a sleeping bag? Thanks.
To do the Inca Trail, the price includes a local backpacker get your things to the next resting place, so I guess I also have other services such as equipment rental. Bring your sleeping bag or buy one in Lima, I bet it will cost about the same as renting. Anyway, here is a site with prices, there are sleeping bags from 3.50 to 7.50 dollars a day. But keep in mind that you have to rent before you leave and perhaps stay an extra night in Aguas Calientes with him, so maybe you have to pay for 6 days those who are only using 3 nights, the cheapest would cost U.S. $ 21.
