Name (s) pre paid cell phones-(s) in Cuzco, Peru?
I will ask my friend in Cuzco to buy a cell phone payment pre-to me for my vacation there. I'll send the money. It costs a fortune for me to use my Sprint phone (as I learned last year). I will only be as used to call the whole area of Cuzco and local need. But I'm not sure what to ask what happens for me. An example in the U.S. Trackfone be as are at Walmart. Any help?
movistar brand names are (from Spain and a major player in Peru), Claro (Mexico, also a major company in Peru) should be noted that the mark (Movistar and Claro), most frinds use, because it is expensive to call from one network to another in Peru. who tend to buy phones directly from the networks that have kiosks in stores everywhere including inside. companies in Peru are very competitive, so usually there big differance in the service or the price of the phone companies or any other company here. from my experience, Claro and Movistar are about the same if you want to make local calls.
