Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt
Of Seven Wonders of the World listed by the Greek historian Herodotus, ancient Great Pyramid of Giza is the only one that can still be seen today in the holiday ancient history of Egypt. Built more than 4500 years, the pyramid was built as a tomb for the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu. It took more than twenty years to build, and was the highest man-made structure in the world for thousands of years.
Chichen Itza, Mexico
Cultural Heritage vacation in Mexico, inevitably tour of the ruins of Mayan civilization, and Chichen Itza is one of the most important Mayan sites in Mexico. Originally known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, the Colosseum could hold over 50,000 spectators, and hosted gladiatorial tournaments, shows and historical reenactments. Despite the damage from earthquakes and robberies, has withstood the test of time and remains one of the most emblematic cultural holiday in Italy.
