I am interested in knowing about explainded quantum science as an undergraduate student, if possible?
I have 41 year old mother of six, artist and English teacher in Peru for many years, not much science. I've been searching previous questions on the matter did not really understand much, I want to understand until you get to know about something heard in a speech, talking about it, saying that there are these small particles (the smallest?) they are being watched and reacted to sounds, etc. Even someone looking light! Even if it was through a camera! Lost track of how to get source this information because it does not catch when I heard it. Not very interested in numbers and formulas, but enough base to better understand and be amazed at this fascinating fact.I need a basic introduction first and only then, maybe some sites during the monitoring. Thanks. Sorry, maybe I should have said upper secondary level of school. Unfamiliar with the American school system. Peru.
It sounds as if you were talking about an area of science known as quantum mechanics, though you may be referred to subatomic particle theory. Yes, math can be a little more and conceptualizations a bit forced. But I'm not hestitant knowing that in any way. Maybe you could be starting soon thermodynamics. The first site below is a call Hyperphysics. The link will be sent directly to the network thermodynmics. Try to touch the buttons, reading and bit and see if it makes sense. I suggest you start with kinetics. If Hyperphysics it does for you, try Wikipedia. If you want to jump head the last reference is string theory, tachyons and all that good stuff. Good luck and Heppy learning.
