What are some of the best tourist attractions in Peru?
I love the outdoors and wildlife and have heard Peru offers much of this and I wanted to know exactly where to go.
Cuzco and Macchu Picchu will cost around U.S. $ 500 per person (airfare not included) and needs at least 4-5 days. Iquitos in the Amazon River costs about the same and have the same time, two nights in Iquitos and 2 nights in the jungle. In both cases (Cusco and Iquitos) Flights cost around U.S. $ 160 depending on whether you buy in advance. Both places are excellent and unforgettable. Going to Arequipa and Colca Canyon is another great experience, you get to see a flock of condors flying over you at 7 am. then there is a thermal swimming pool with a large number overnight tourists and beautiful scenery. This is a little cheaper than Cuzco and Iquitos. (4 days at least) of Ica-Paracas is a cheaper option with a large many attractions, the oasis of Huacachina is an ideal place to stay, you can hang out in the lagoon or take a ride on big buggies for 10 people and leaving the dunes to do something of sandboarding. Then go to the Paracas Peninsula to whatch the Flemish and the Ballestas Islands to whatch the seals, otters and many seabirds. There are museums that show premises pre-Columbian cultures (Nazca and Paracas) and you can go see the Nazca lines in a Cessna airplane. If you do all listed below, it becomes more expensive than the last. Finally you have the white crest of the mountains in Huaraz and the nearby ruins of Chavin
