Bolivia has no sea coast … Chile should give them access to the oceans?

Well, I'm Chilean and this has been a loooong "contentious issue with Bolivia … and I should like to hear a 3rd party. Here's the deal: In 1879 there was a war between Peru and Chile. Bolivia said it supported the point of view of Chile and Peru betrayed and allies, but both countries have lost territory and Bolivia was denied access to the sea. However, note that there are many other countries with access to the sea and have no problem (Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Paraguay, etc.). I think Bolivia said that the lack of access to the sea, while they should blame the bad governments … What do you think? Thanks for taking the time:) Sorry, I think faster than I have this kind … Bolivia blames lack of access to the sea for their problems, while those to blame are the bad governments, so common in South America … Thank you!

I agree with you – in this day and age to have access to the sea is not as crucial as ever WAS – There are many forms of freight now. Bolivia has been mismanaged for decades and has Little progress so that the country in the 21st century. It is the poorest country in South America, but also rich in natural resources and that is what the government should concentrate.
