nazca peru geoglyphs
How can a person did a geoglyph without a GPS?

Geoglifos are very large images can only be seen from the sky. (eg Nazca Peru) How can we do that and maintain my straight line?

test in a large field with simple poles, the levels in order to keep the rules to check the height, angle of simple measurement devices, and some pieces of string, and you'll see it's pretty easy to get geoglyphs (or base of a pyramid, or whatever). the problem is there are enough ignorant people around who did not learn until the very basics of trigonometry in high school, and for these people is easy to say "look, drawings / pyramids / other, but had no GPS at the time, so aliens must have helped. Please take a moment to consider all the great buildings of antiquity – which has no GPS, people all they had were smart and worked very well. Romans built huge aqueducts that were perfectly designed to within a fraction of an inch over a hundred miles – which is much, much more impressive than any of the geoglyphs Nazca!
