landslide peru 1970
How do I find the orphans of the 1970 earthquake in Huaraz, Peru? Where can I find a list?

My husband had family living in Yungay and Huaraz in 1970. Never find their cousins, the children who may have been in the circus during the earthquake and the final collapse. Does anyone know what have a list of the survivors of this disaster? Many children were sent to Europe for adoption, but who knows where. Are there any good pages web for this sort of thing?

It is very difficult to access a list of orphans (if not actually one) The only thing I think is actually the visit Yungay (the new town) and start making local authorities. Just remember that when the earthquake happened, the government was in charge of militars that may or may not have sent orphans somewhere else. It would be best to contact the people who lived there at the time, and local authorities now in Yungay and Huaraz. Websites? I do not think these things are very delictae for posting online. Good luck!
