Salar high-altitude country of Peru?
Does anyone know how this happens. It could have been the result of mineral deposits after the eruption of the volcano, but it is a great big lake that you can even see satellite images. Nature is truly amazing, right?
It used to be a salty sea, but was built eons ago by continental collision. It's the same way we find fossils of sea creatures in the Himalayas.
