If someone from Peru is coming to the university in the United States are not eligible for FAFSA?
My friend who lives in Peru really want to go and going to college here. Everything is more expensive here. just be able to go to college with the money she has. should be eligible for FAFSA?
Probably not, if she is coming to this country to be a student. If you do not have a social security number or alien registration number (this is for foreigners with permanent residence in the U.S.), then not be able to file the FAFSA. If your family immigrated to the U.S., are refugees, or if one or both parents are American then she may have about the information to file the form, but most students do not.
