Which volcanoes are located along spreading plate boundaries?
I have a list of volcanoes and can’t figure out which ones are on spreading plate boundaries. The lists includes: Arenal (Costa Rica), El Chichon (Mexico), El Misti (Peru), Erta Ale (Ethiopia), Falcon (Tonga Islands), Hekla (Iceland), Katmai (Alaska), Mauna Loa (Hawaii), Mt. Rainier (Washington), Ol Doinyo Lengai (Congo), Pinatubo (Phillipines), Rabaul (Papua New Guinea), Ruapehu (New Zealand), Tambora (Indonesia), Unzen (Japan) and Villarrica (Chile).
Hi,
here you’ll find an image with all known boundaries:

You’re looking for the red lines only, so compare the locations of those volcanoes with the red lines on the image and you’re good to go
