Why do you have a densely populated place like California have no good food in the South?
I like in Orange County and beyond a couple of places Mexico and the sushi, the restaurant business here is quite advanced. Possibly the worst metropolitan area in the U.S. for dinner. Where is French, good Chinese, tapas, Italian, Japanese (sushi sans), Peru, etc. .. Simply can not find here. I have tried to Los Angeles and … as bad (or worse). sasfdasfsdfasdf
Will, While I agree with you about it, I do not agree with you about LA! Outside the restaurant chains, Los Angeles has one of the best eating establishments in the country, whether diving, cafes or luxury. I do not like Asian food, and have not found any Asian restaurants here worth a try twice, but for: French – Jardin de La Petit, Pico and Robertson in Peru – Pistachio CafĂ© in La Cienega and Italian Wilshire – Wilshire Campanile and La Brea eclectic – Napa Valley Grill on Wilshire and Glendon Diner – House of Pies in Los Feliz dive – Home Roscoe Chicken and Waffles That's just to name a few.
