I am planning a trip to Spain on holiday, and I have questions?
What is the best time of year to visit Barcelona? Im February is "What other cities to visit, with a limited budget and little time (five days)" There's a cheap flight from Rome – Italy to Barcelona? or is cheaper to take the train? – What are the must-see attractions in Barcelona and near places? – What are some tips I can give this trip? Im going to Spain from Italy and I'm from Peru in South America Thanks a lot! any advice on this and other topics will be greatly appreciated
Well, first of all, yes, should be able to get a cheap (about 100 € one way) flight from Rome to Barcelona. Second, you want to find a location near the Ramblas, because that will more or less at the center of the city. The metro is very good, but, especially in the subway and other crowded places, be careful with your valuables. Not sure the best time to go to Barcelona, I've only been there in June, and it was hot and humid. I'm pretty sure it's a very mild climate, but I'm not sure about the best time. If you have only 5 days (total?) Spend it all in Barcelona. There is plenty to do there. You migh take a trip to Montserrat – the famous monastery and home the black virgin. It is very nice. Other side trips include any of the beaches along unwelcome in the north and south coasts. I really wanted to go to Cadaqués, a center for the Impressionists, but I have no time. Figueres was home to Dali, and any of these cities is only half hour or so shot in the French border, if you want to be able to tell people that went to France for a coffee (which was a great idea for us Yankees, but again, time ran short). Us He also liked to Gerona, a cute little town whose heyday was about five or six centuries ago. Sitges has a good reputation as well, and there are neat little towns with castles, and like all up and down the coast. Going south, we went to Tarragona, only to see the Roman ruins there. Some of the best preserved in the country. Of course, if you are living in Rome, that's no big deal to you. In Barcelona, must pass through the Barri Gòtic, Poble Espanyol is really fantastic, if not very authentic. We expected to find crafts that were typical of different regions, such as buildings, but found no modern crafts instead. You should rise and fall Las Ramblas, from the port to Cataunya Square, just to see the street performers and stalls of things for sale. You should definitely spend a day or two in the Eixample, see the Casa Milà, Casa Battlló and the absolute can not miss the Sagrada Familia and Parc Güell. The four were designed by Gaudí. The zoo is world class and there are two amusement parks, Tibidabo is located in the city, and there was something like a Six Flags outside the city and as a water park which is clearly closed for the winter. All can be closed during the winter months. In addition, the Picasso museum is supposed to be incredible. (I went for many years and did not impress me much, but I have understood that it has expanded greatly in recent years). The Palace Music is incredible, but we could not come when we left, so check in advance, make sure you are really open all your posted hours. Cholocate The museum was fascinating, and coffee final was great! Definitely have some outstanding seafood at the port, and if you have time, have chocolate and churros at the Cafe de la Opera, through the Ramblas from the Opera House. That would be one thing in the morning do better on Sundays, but we went a couple of times. As you are from Peru, you will have no communication problem, as everyone speaks Spanish, and only took me a couple of days to gather in Catalan, I can not speak, but I understand enough. A warning. Do not think, once you've been to Barcelona, Spain has experienced, as is almost a different country. People will tell you who are not Spanish, but Catalan, and you can feel a change as you travel more south or central part of the country. I would not try to go too far from Barcelona to time limitations, however. Do you really want to give the city its due course. Enjoy!
