How can I instruct someone to call the U.S.?
My father went to Peru for a vacation, and he is quite old, and costs look at things on the Internet. I've obviously never had to call from another country – that the series of numbers so I could check contact me here? Is it just the country code (01), then my area code (eg 123), then my phone number (123-4567)? Or is there another number I have to pull there too? It seems there should be more numbers, but I never called from outside my country, so I do not know Thanks to all Bell
There are four components of the series: 1. International access code (often 00, though it works with mobile phones +) 2. country code (for U.S. is a [No 01]) 3. Area Code 4. phone number so following his example, to dial 0011231234567 (or 11231234567)
